What is TNR?

Trap-Neuter-Return

TNR is the only effective and humane method of sterilizing community cats to combat the overpopulation of cats in our neighborhoods and spread of diseases through vaccination intervention. This approach provides a higher quality of life for friendly and feral cats.

Additional benefits of TNR

Through the sterilization of cats, we are directly reducing the number of cats on our streets which in turn decreases the financial burden for caretakers who spend hundreds of dollars annually to feed outdoor cats.

Additionally, by fixing feral cats and placing the majority of adoptable cats into forever homes, we are reducing the harm of wildlife, such as birds, and snakes, that are vital to our ecosystem.
